Government verifies contracts on new subway line in Bucharest

Prime Minister Dacian Ciolos’ control body verified the “allocation and running of several acquisition contracts for some subway trains” and the “allocation and running of several acquisition contracts for work on the fifth subway throughway Drumul Taberei – Pantelimon [Magistrala 5],” according to a statement from the institution, as cited by Agerpres.

“On 10.05.2016, the Prime Minister’s control body is undergoing an unforeseen control action at the headquarters of the Subway Transport in Bucharest Commercial Society ‘Metrorex’ SA on 38 Dinicu Golescu Blvd, sector 1, Bucharest, according to Order no. 59/29.04.2016, with the taking of documents relevant for the following objectives: the allocation and running of several acquisition contracts for some subway trains; the allocation and running of several acquisition contracts for work on the fifth subway throughway Drumul Taberei – Pantelimon [Magistrala 5],” said the PM’s control body website, according to Agerpres.
