The recent decisions of  the Government regarding the change in Criminal Code will trigger a major impact on the economic relations of the state and business environment with the international partners, due to the lack of trust that it will generate, endangering the Romanian economic growth targets, say the represntatives of Union Confederation “Concordia”.

At the same time, the lack of predictibility of the decision-making pricess will be reflected in the costs growth of the loans that the Romanian state will contract, resulting in the increase of the tax burden in order the cover the deficits , claim the representatives of the Union Conferedration.

„The recent decisions of Government regarding the change in Criminal Code were adopted fast, without a real consultancy and without the evaluation of risks that might appear at the level of Romanian society, including the Romanian attractiveness for economy investments,” say the Unions.

The representatives of Concordia state that the economic and social objectives from the Government program and the manners they should be fulfilled need substantial debates with the social partners, with the corresponding impact analysis and within the legal reasonable time framework to contribute with observations, amendments or additions regarding its or the opportunities of these objectives.

„Concordia expresses its hope that the rationality will prevail in the Romanian public institutions’ decisions, in the country member of EU and NATO, starting a real and efficient dialog between them and the social partners and contributing to the regaining and eventually the maintenance of the trust, which is put through a test this period,” says the Union in a press release.

Concordia is a representative union at national level, set up in 2007 and gathers patronages whose members develop their activity in key sectors of the Romanian economy.
