Google Enterprise global partner Revevol enters local market

Revevol, a Google Enterprise global partner, has opened an office in Romania, which thereby becomes the 20th country to join the group, the firm announced last week. The office in Romania will team up with Appnor MSP, a local reseller of Google Apps.

“Revevol’s expansion model is to partner players already on the local market, in order to have a functional base. In Romania there are only two-three companies that have the required profile. Discussions started at the end of May, in June we met and now in September we are forming the new company, Revevol Romania, which is an association between Revevol Group and Appnor MSP. It is a completely new entity,” Dragos Manac, CEO Appnor MSP, told BR.

The firm facilitates corporations’ migration towards Google Apps. Over the last four years it has helped over 300,000 companies around the world to switch.

“As a group, Revevol expands very fast. At the beginning of the year there were fewer than 15 companies in the group, now there are 20 and by the end of the year there should be 30. The strategy to partner with local companies which have access to the local market is very good because it allows them to get a functional network very fast,” saidManac. Currently the Appnor MSP team numbers 15 people but 5 more will join the newly formed entity. “Our clients are generally small and medium companies but our association with Revevol opens the door for us to approach multinational companies and very large local clients,” added the CEO.

Manac estimates that by the end of the year the new entity will post a turnover of EUR 1 million. He evaluates the Romanian applications market as having potential of several million EUR. “It is very hard to make an accurate estimation because there are Google products whose license costs somewhere between EUR 500,000 and EUR 1 million annually,” commented the CEO.
