German chancellor Angela Merkel visits Romania

German chancellor Angela Merkel will visit Bulgaria and Romania on October 11 and 12, respectively. Chancellor Merkel will come to Romania to have discussions with President Traian Basescu and Prime Minister Emil Boc. The agenda of the German chancellor also stipulates a visit at the Babes-Bolyai University in Cluj where he will be awarded the title Doctor Honoris Causa.

Merkel will come to Romania from Bulgaria, where she will meet Prime Minister Borissov and President Parvanov. She will also be awarded the title Doctor Honoris Causa by the Ruse university.
