Gefco and Ford expand collaboration in Romania

Gefco Romania, a subsidiary of the Gefco Group, a global player on the industrial logistics sector and European leader in logistic services for the automotive sector, announced the expansion of its collaboration with Ford Motor Company in Romania.   

After the recent public announcement by Ford Motor Company on the start of production of Ford EcoSport at its Craiova factory, Gefco Romania supports the activity of one of its major clients in the automotive industry in Romania, by offering customised logistic solutions for finite vehicles (FVL) and adapting itself to the company’ s business needs at a regional level.

Gefco Romania will operate the rail transport of Ford EcoSport to Constanta and towards western European markets such as Germany, Italy and Benelux countries. Gefco will provide a rapid transport solution which will allow Italy and Benelux markets to receive the cars in four days and Germany in five days.
