FrieslandCampina Romania registered a turnover of RON 331 million, a growth by 4 percent compared with 2015 and recorded a profit. This was due to the finalization of  production operations consolidations and implementation of extensive investments program in the two factories from Cluj-Napoca and Targu Mures.

The results of the company were supported by the demand increase in the entire range of Napolact, of Frico brand, especially for Napolact Pur si Simplu and BIO.

“Our objective is to continue to make the entire activity of the company efficient after the consolidation under a single entity during 2016. We focused on re-technologization, the growth of capacity, at the same time with the development of products ranges and the continuation of investments in our brands, contributing to a net positive result,” said Cornel Caramizaru, managing director FrieslandCampina Romania.

During 2016, the producer integrated the operations of FrieslandCampina, Napolact and Industrializarea Laptelui Mureș activities in a sole entity, FrieslandCampina S.A.
