At this event, drawings of Francisc Şirato, Ion Ţuculescu, Samuel Mutzner and Rudolf Schweitzer-Cump will be on auction, which includes more than 150 paintings.
For this “Romanian Impressionism and Postimpressionism annual auction”, Tonitza’s painting “Nud cu spatele” (oil on cardboard, 50 x 40 cm) is the central piece. The estimated value of the painting is between EUR 80.000-150.000.
The painting “Fetita in alb” (oil on cardboard, 40 x 35 cm) is the second grant surprise of the auction. The value of this painting is between EUR 60.000 – 120.000.
“Micuta tataroaica (Rachis Ali)” and “Studiu pentru «amurg în câmpie»” are the other two paintings that will be auction at the event, valued at EUR 30.000-50.000 and EUR 3.000-5.000 respectively.
Almost 60 percent of the painting lots available for “Romanian Impressionism and Postimpressionism annual auction” have a starting price under EUR 1.000. The pieces of art are signed by well-known Romanian painters such as Dumitru Ghiaţă, Ion Musceleanu, Paul Scorţescu, Honoriu Creţulescu, Marin H. Georgescu, Nicolae Enea and Marius Bunescu.
