Former Dorna owner takes loan for Suceava mineral water bottling unit

Jean Valvis, former owner of Dorna dairy producer, has recently taken a EUR 9.2 million loan from BCR which will fuel the opening of a mineral water factory in Suceava, according to Valvis, quoted by Mediafax newswire. The factory, which will be opened in summer this year, will require a EUR 12.5 million investment which will be carried through Carpathian Springs. The production of the future factory will cater both local and external demand. The new mineral water, Aqua Carpatica, will be launched on the market in summer this year. Jean Valvis sold Dorna dairy producer in 2008 to French group Lactalis. He also sold Dorna Apemin mineral water producer in 2002 to Coca Cola.
