Ford Trucks has launched its headquarters in Romania, which represents the biggest office that the company has in Europe.

The building is located on the A1 highway, at km 13.2, and from here Ford Trucks will provide a wide array of services such as sales, post-sale operations and spare parts deliveries. The HQ of Ford Trucks was launched following a rebranding that required an investment of over EUR 200,000, concluded with a renovated building.

“In line with our global strategy in the truck segment, Ford Trucks continues to develop is international network with distribution agreements on three continents, especially in the Middle East, North Africa, Russia and Turkey, and most recently in Eastern Europe. As we have already grown in various regions of the word, Eastern Europe is now our focus market,” said Lisa King, deputy general director of Ford Otosan.

The Ford Trucks HQ covers 17,000 square meters, including a building of 3,900 sqm, a parking lot of 13,000 sqm, offices spanning close to 1,700 sqm. The service and spare parts warehouse cover another 3,000 sqm.

At the end of last year, Ford Trucks entered the Romanian market through a partnership with Cefin Trucks, which was named exclusive importer and distributor. In 2017, Cefin plans to sell 185 Ford trucks.

Ford Trucks plans to reach a market share of 6 percent.

The company has operations in 25 countries and plans to double this figure by 2020.
