The football match between Romania and France will inaugurate today the newly built National Arena, which replaces the previous 23 August arena.
The match is broadcast live by the public television station TVR1 starting 21.30 and counts for the preliminary matches of the European Football Championship of next year.
The recently renovated National Arena has a capacity of 55,000 seats, out of which 20,000 are in the first tribune. The first level of the stadium accommodates the seats for guests of honor, while the second level includes the ring road necessary for the traffic towards the balcony of the stadium. This has a 35,000-seat capacity.
