Five Romanian workers die in Czech chemical plant explosion

The Romanian Foreign Affairs Ministry has confirmed that five Romanian workers have died in an explosion at a chemical plant in the Czech Republic.

Czech authorities are conducting an investigation into the explosion, which occurred at the chemical plant in Kralupy nad Vltavou.

The Romanian Embassy in Prague is monitoring the situation and is in contact with the victims’ families in order to provide assistance for repatriation of the bodies and other services that may be needed.
