Fin.ro daily goes online. Intact launches Fin.ro Magazine monthly

The Fin.ro daily (former Financiarul), edited by Intact group, will no longer appear on print, but only online, starting August 29, as the general manager of the publication, Gabriela Vrânceanu Firea, said for paginademedia.ro.

 Instead, Intact will launch a business monthly called Fin.ro Magazin starting September 1, which will be 64 pages long.

 “Most readers in our target prefer to get informed online and advertising budgets available at the moment for print do no longer justify maintaining a print newspaper on the market at any cost. Consequently, we prefer to direct our resources to the channels where our public is,” said Firea.  

 After a restructuring process, the editorial teams of the two financial publications Saptamana Financiara and Fin.ro have been united under Gabriela Vrânceanu Firea (general manager), Radu Preda (editorial manager) and Edward Pastia (editor in chief), according to the same source.
