Farmec launches premium range of Gerovital brand

Romanian cosmetics producer Farmec launched the first premium range in its portfolio. The launch coincided with the 50th anniversary of the start of the mass production of the first cosmetic Gerovital cream. The Gerovital H3 Derma+ Premium Care includes 10 skincare products created in collaboration with specialists in the field.

The new product line was launched during Gerovital 50 years, a May 23 event which brought together media representatives, professionals and local stars.

This anniversary is one of the most important and emotional moments in the history of Gerovital. For half a century, Gerovital has been alongside Romanians of all ages and wrote the story of Romanian excellence in cosmetics, becoming the favorite brand of entire generations. In these 50 years, it reinvented itself constantly, preserving, at the same time, an impressive tradition that it managed to combine creatively with innovative and modern solutions,” Mircea Turdean, Farmec Director General said. “We are taking a new step forward and launching the first premium range in the company’s portfolio. This way, we are entering a new market segment (…), determined to reconfirm our status of leader in the Romanian cosmetics industry,” he added.

The new range is designed for those aged 30-50 and is also recommended in the process of healing after the skin was subject to cosmetic surgery.
