Local cosmetics manufacturer Farmec Cluj-Napoca has reported revenues worth RON 24.4 million (EUR 5.8 million) for the first quarter of 2010, 15.6 percent more against the same period of 2010.
The growth was mainly driven by the Gerovital Plant, Gerovital H3 Evolution, Gerovital Plant Tratament products, the company announced. Gerovital Plant was launched earlier this year and was intensively promoted on TV and print but also online. “It confirms our expectations and continues to see sales go up,” said Mircea Turdean, CEO of Framec Cluj-Napoca.
The company manufactures and sales more than 400 cosmetics and household cleaning products in Romania and 30 other countries. Gerovital H3, Gerovital H3 Evolution, Gerovital Plant and AslaVital generate the highest sales on external markets.
In 2010 Farmec Cluj-Napoca has reported a turnover worth EUR 22.8 million, 10 percent more compared to the previous year. For 2011 the company targets an increase of at least 7 percent.
