The European commissioner designate for digital economy and society, Mariya Gabriel, visits Romania during Monday and Tuesday, says the European Commission Representation in Romania.
During the first day of the visit, the commissioner will hold an opening speech during the seventh annual international conference at high level on the topic “new global challenges in cyber security field”.
Also, Gabriel will meet with the deputy PM Ion-Marcel Ciolacu, with the minister of Communications and Informational Society Lucian Șova, and with the representatives of some interested parties regarding the online illegal content.
She will also visit the project Innovation Labs, of the Bucharest Polytechnic University.
On Tuesday, Gabriel will attend the second edition of the International digital Forum, with the theme “Industrial start-ups 4.0” where she will hold an opening speech. Then, she will meet the members of the specialty commissions and European affairs in the Romanian Parliament.
She will visit also two projects that support the access facilitation to library resources for blind people or with eyesight deficiency.
