EU Milling Wheat Futures Contracts will be available for trading on the Bucharest Stock Exchange starting today, according to an official press statement issued by BVB.
The contract has as underlying the price, expressed in EUR, of one metric ton of milling wheat produced in the EU, in accordance to legislation mentioned in the “NO.2 milling wheat futures” contract traded on the NYSE Liffe Paris platform.
The first futures will be traded under the symbols GRUE12JAN and GRUE12MAR, with maturity on January 9, 2012, respectively March 9, 2012. The multiplier is RON 50.
Starting today, SSIF Broker will act as Market Maker for the two closest maturities of the respective futures contracts.
