Ensight becomes a member of Eurogroup Consulting and extends towards pan-European projects

Ensight Management Consulting, a Romanian management consulting company market, has recently become a member of Eurogroup Consulting network, one of the most powerful consultancy networks in Europe. The event was highlighted through a press conference attended by representatives of both organizations, from Romania and France.

“European origins are the important words as we believe that knowledge and experience is a necessity, but the connection with the human factor, and therefore the culture, will make the difference to mobilize our clients for real and long term results”, said Yves Labat, General Delegate of Eurogroup Consulting.

Eurogroup Consulting provides consulting services in a variety of sectors: banking, finance, insurances, pharmaceutical industry, production, retail and distribution, energy and utilities, telecommunications, public administration and healthcare, sectors that it holds in common with Eurogroup consulting. The most profitable sectors this year will be banking & insurance, retail & distribution and energy & utilities, stated Robert Maxim, managing partner of Ensight Management Consulting, as they are going through important restructuring processes.

Labat explained that Ensight will now provide consulting services not only locally, but also regionally: “We have developed an expertise in managing cultural differences. (…) Our teams are immediately operational to conduct cross-border assignments. For a more effective approach of consulting projects conducted in Central and East-European countries, Eurogroup Consulting provides consulting services through a hub of offices: Bucharest and Warsaw. Thus, Ensight Management Consulting will participate from Romania to the consulting missions, at regional level, for the clients in Hungary, Russia, Ukraine, Croatia, Slovenia and Republic of Moldavia.”

This affiliation opens new perspectives for Ensight on what concerns access to international academic research, added Maxim: “In addition to the geographical coverage, this partnership with Eurogroup Consulting offers us a true platform of professional cooperation: access to academic research through the Eurogroup Institute, trainings and specialized courses for consultants, exchange of experience and know-how in multiple business segments, extended expertise, high quality standards for consulting services offered, international projects”.

The local management consulting market reached a value of approximately EUR 180-200 million last year, dropping by 20 percent, after in 2009 it reported another 30 percent decrease against the previous year, stated Maxim, estimating similar results for this year (a value of around EUR 200,000). In 2010 Ensight Management Consulting registered a EUR 4.7 million turnover, down by 20 percent on 2009. This year, Ensight expects similar results, with a 10-15 percent of the turnover to result from pan-European projects.

Ensight Management Consulting represents the first Romanian affiliation with an international management consulting group. The liaison enables Ensight to widen its service portfolio and to extend its geographical market range to pan-European level.
