Endava recruits 250 IT specialists in major Romanian cities in H1

British company Endava, provider of IT services and solutions, has announced plans to recruit over 250 people all over the country in the first half of the year, with the largest majority to be employed in Iasi.

 Most employments will take place in Iasi, where the company will also have an event, Endava Career Days, for this year, organized between January 24 and 28.

 Of the 250 employments announced for the first half of 2011, approximately 180 positions are open in Iasi, where Endava already has over 130 employees.

 In Cluj-Napoca, where the company has its largest development center employing 190 people, another 35 IT specialists will be recruited in the first half of the year.

 In Bucharest, where Endava has a regional coordination and consultancy sector employing 10 people, it will employ 40 more.

 Endava is mainly looking to hire Java and .Net developers, software testers, project managers and business analysts. For centers in Cluj and Bucharest, the company looks for BI specialists, software architects, support engineers, service desk analysts or 3rd line consultants on Microsoft and Unix & Networking technologies.

 At the beginning of this year, Endava Romania counted approximately 340 employees in Romania, up 33 percent on the previous year. In the first 2 weeks of the year Endava employed approximately 50 people.
