Online IT&C retailer eMAG has moved its headquarters to the Swan Office & Technology Park where it rented a space of 2,700 sqm.

The relocation decision is part of the company’s development plans, as eMAG estimates an annual growth of at least 50 percent on the medium term.

The new HQ hosts 170 of the 375 employees of eMAG- the teams in the de IT, marketing, HR, financial, supply, sales and call center departments.

On the other hand, the company is not giving up the space it has in Grant Mall, which until now hosted its central operations, and now will only host the showroom and service center.

Swan Office & Technology Park is the most recent green building inaugurated on the market this year.

eMAG ended the first half of the year with a turnover of EUR 62 million, which represents a 52 percent growth on the similar period in 2010.

By the end of the year, eMAG estimates that it will post EUR 150 million turnover.
