Effie Romania launches, for the third time in a row, Effie Effectiveness Index Romania, a top that reunites the information about the Romanian winners and finalists at the Effie competition, in a local Index. In the first place, both in the companies and brands ranking, came Telekom Romania, while the top of the agencies is led by McCann World Group Romania.
The system of accumulating points is the same as at the global level and all the details are public here. Effie Effectiveness Index is done globally and identifies and classifies the most efficient clients, agencies and brands in the marketing and communication industry, reuniting the information about the winners and finalists in the Effie competitions across 40 markets.
The Effie Index was launched in 2011, in order to present the most efficient clients, agencies and brands globally, regionally, in some countries or district, on categories of products.
Therefore, Telekom Romania won the title of the most efficient client with a Grand Effie, gold and silver in the Telecommunications category, a silver in Engaged Communities and bronze in Brand Experience, rising up a position after 2015.
Strauss Romania took the second place with a gold in the Sustained Success category and two bronzes in Non-alcoholic beverages and Renaissance.
The third place went to US Food Network with a silver and a bronze in Retail and a bronze in Brand Experience.

The top three agencies is formed by McCann WorldGroup Romania, Publicis Romania/Publics One and Leo Burnett Romania/Publicis One. McCann WorldGroup Romania is the winner for the second year in a row, with one gold Effie, five silvers and six bronzes. It’s followed by Publicis Romania/ Publicis One with one gold and four bronzes and Leo Burnett Romania/Publicis One with one Grand Effie, one gold, one silver and two bronzes.
