Romania obtained financing from the European Commission (EC) for the rehabilitation of national roads, a press release informs.
The project encompasses road links Targu Mures – Reghin and Reghin – Saratel, part of DN 15 and DN 15 A, respectively. From a total value of EUR 37 million, the co-financing by EU funds through the European Regional Development Fund reaches over EUR 31 million.
The project aims to rehabilitate nearly 25 km from DN15 between Targu Mures and Reghin and approximately 47 km from DN 15 between Reghin and Saratel.
The project is part of the Sectoral Operational Programme “Transport” of Romania, under Priority Axis 2 “Modernization and development of national transport infrastructure in order to develop a sustainable transport system” in 2007-2013.
