Dragos Tudorache was sworn in as minister of internal affairs on Wednesday, in a ceremony that was attended by president Klaus Iohannis.

The prime-minister Dacian Ciolos also attended the ceremony from Cotroceni Palace, together with other Government members and Iohannis’ counselors.

Tudorache replaces Petre Toba, who resigned on September 1, after the National Anti-Corruption Directorate (DNA) started the prosecution against him in a file involving representatives from the internal intelligence service of MAI called DIPI.
