DOUGLAS celebrates Romanian entrepreneurial spirit and success by promoting local brands in the ROBrands project

DOUGLAS Romania continues its mission of supporting Romanian brands and local producers within the ROBrands project, the only premium beauty platform dedicated to local producers.

“For DOUGLAS, ROBrands is a project of the soul, born from love for native beauty and local brands, from trust in Romanian entrepreneurs and from the belief that together we can do formidable things. Since the beginning, we have set out to create a platform where local producers can offer their customers excellent products that they want, offering the support and exposure they deserve. Thus, together we can make ROBrands the preferred destination of those who want to support local producers, promoting excellence on the Romanian cosmetics market. For the next year we intend to extend the portfolio with five new brands.” said Lavinia Ivas, CEO of DOUGLAS Romania. “ROBrands is our declaration of love for Romanian beauty!” added Lavinia.

Created in 2020, with the aim of supporting local entrepreneurs and producers, the ROBrands project has turned into DOUGLAS’ mission to promote Romanian brands, becoming an important pillar of the company’s development strategy in Romania.

ROBrands offers Romanians over 1600 products from 37 brands and aims to support the development of the Romanian cosmetics industry, while offering customers the local products they want. On ROBrands, Romanians can find their favorite body and face care products, personal hygiene, make-up, accessories and perfumes. The project expanded significantly, by developing the home & lifestyle category that includes home accessories and candles. Since launch, a significant percentage of brands added to the ROBrands category have come from consumer nominations.
