Donation withdrawn from Romgaz agenda, Franklin Templeton confirms

Franklin Templeton, the appointed administrator of Fondul Proprietatea, has confirmed that the RON 400 million donation was withdrawn from Romgaz’s general shareholders meeting agenda on 18 October 2010. Franklin Templeton will continue to monitor the situation closely and strive to build dialogue with the relevant parties to ensure that any future proposals on this matter will genuinely be in the best interests of Romgaz and not prejudicial to shareholders, such as Fondul Proprietatea.
