Dm drogerie markt opens store in Openville Timisoara

A new store of the German retailer dm drogerie markt was opened on December 8, at the ground floor of the United Business Center 2 (UBC 2) class A office building, in the Openville Timisoara project developed by the IULIUS Group.

Having approximately 390 square meters, dm drogerie markt offers a broad range of beauty and baby care products, hygiene and housekeeping supplies, as well as bio foods and products that support a good state of health. In the national network developed by IULIUS, dm drogerie markt also operates in Palas Mall Iasi, Iulius Mall Iasi and Iulius Mall Suceava.

This is the second grand opening of a service operator in the UBC 2 building, following that of the REGINA MARIA Polyclinic. UBC 2 has an 18,000 square meters gross leasable area and to provides a mix between the office and retail components. The companies that have leased premises in UBC 2 include Ness Software Engineering Services and Autoliv Romania.

IULIUS is investing over EUR 220 million in the Openville Timisoara mixed-use project located in the proximity of Iulius Mall, the second mixed-use project in the company portfolio after Palas Iasi. The second office building is currently pending construction and it is set to include a 13,000 sqm gross leasable area. Openville will include seven class A office buildings with a gross leasable area adding up to 130,000 sqm.
