Divertiland invests EUR 3 mln in new entertainment area

Divertiland water park is inaugurating a new entertainment area one week after its opening for the season, on June 17, the company states in a press release.

The new area, Super Paradise, is the result of a EUR 3 million investment, spans 35,000 sqm and comprises two pools with heated water, an Olympic swimming pool for adults and a children’s pool lined with anti-slip tape. This year visitors will also benefit from a new area with 3,000 beds and 500 seats in its two restaurants.

“This year we continue the series of investments that are part of our strategy to consolidate the largest aquatic amusement park in Romania, with over 40 hectares of swimming pools, sandy areas, slides, training areas and restaurants. We always pay special attention to the safety and quality of our services and we are ready to welcome more than 180,000 visitors throughout the season, the park’s capacity reaching over 7,000 visitors per day,” said Alexandros Poulakis, CEO of Divertiland.

Tickets cost RON 40 for adults, while pupils, students and pensioners will have special access fees. Children under three years of age have free access.

Divertiland is a waterpark situated in Bucharest’s Militari area, open in 2012. Access to the park can be gained by train or via mini-buses organized by Divertiland.
