Dacia has launched on the market a Duster model equipped with an EDC automatic gearbox. The Dacia range expanded with a new Limited Series, titled Explorer, which is available for the Sandero, Logan MCV, Dokker, Lodgy and Duster models.
For the first time, Dacia included in its offer for the Duster model an automated gearbox. According to company representatives, the new EDC (Efficient Dual Clutch) gearbox is available for the 1.5 dCI 109 CP models, associated with the Stop&Start system and represents a big step compared to traditional gearboxes. Specifically, the EDC gearbox combines the robustness and reduced costs of a manual gearbox with the responsiveness and practic character of an automated box.
The technology used guarantees a good responsiveness, and usage costs are comparable with those of a manual gearbox.
