Dacia head Francois Fourmont retires, Jerome Olive succeeds him

Olive, 52, started work at Renault's Sandouville plant in 1982. He was involved in the R25 and R21 vehicle projects, occupying various posts concerned with the reliability of procedures and maintenance. In 1996 he moved to Renault Douai for the start-up of the Scenic 1. He became deputy director in charge of manufacturing ten years ago, and was appointed director of the plant early in 2004. His predecessor, Fourmont, 61, joined Renault in 1975. From 1988 to the end of 1998 he held various posts in the Sandouville and Le Mans plants. He became managing director of Dacia in July 2003 and has been managing director of the Renault Group in Romania since March 2008.
