North-Eastern beltway of Bucharest opened to traffic

The North-Eastern beltway of Bucharest became functional this Thursday and the traffic is developed on 4 lanes, with restrictions in the area of km 57, where the construction works should close at the beginning of October, Transport minister Razvan Cuc, announced on his Facebook page.

“Although the works for the beltway sector between A1 and DN7 started on May 2013, they came to a standstill for a long period of time. Only after several visits on the building site the works continued in an accelerated rhythm. Now the The North-Eastern beltway of Bucharest is opened and the traffic is developed on 4 lanes, with restrictions in the area of km 57, where the construction works should close at the beginning of October” said Cuc.
