Romania’s Competition Council has approved the transaction according to which Sensiblu took over 78 pharmacies owned by Sibpharmamed SRL, part of Polisano group, according to the institution’s Facebook page.
The Council has evaluated this operation from the compatibility point of view with the competition environment and has concluded that it doesn’t bring significant obstacles in the competition from the Romanian market in pharma field.
Sensiblu is part of A&D Pharma Holdings group and its main activity is around retail trade in pharma products and the para pharma products in pharmacies.
Sibpharmamed SRL is part of Polisano group and its activity concerns the retail trade of pharma products in specialized stores.
The acquired assets are in 41 localities: Alba Iulia, Arad, Bacau, Baia Mare, Braila, Brasov, Bucuresti, Buzau, Buzias, Caransebes, Cluj-Napoca, Constanta, Craiova, Deva, Dorohoi, Focsani, Galati, Gheorgheni, Hunedoara, Iasi, Ineu, Medias, Mures, Oradea, Orastie, Petrosani, Piatra Neamt, Pitesti, Resita, Satu Mare, Sebes, Sibiu, Slatina, Targoviste, Targu Mures, Timisoara, Tulcea, Turda, Vaslui, Vulcan and Zalau.
