Cocor Media Channel, the media façade of the Cocor store in Bucharest, reported EUR 1.7 million outdoor ad sales for last year. This is a 30 percent increase compared to 2009. “The 30 percent increase in sales reflects a favorable trend for digital outdoor, spectacular considering that the outdoor ad market went down with over 15 percent,” said Dan Barbulescu, president of the Cocor administration council.
According to data from the Bucharest Police provided by Cocor the traffic adjacent to the store in 2010 was of approximately 33.27 million cars on the six of the eight lanes of the boulevard facing the store building.
