Chiuariu & Asociatii opens intellectual property counseling division

Lawfirm Chiuariu & Asociatii launched the division of counseling in intellectual property, which is estimated to bring 25 percent of the firm’s revenues in 2011.

The division is led by Ileana Florea, who has 10 years of experience in this domain.

“Royalties represent already a domain of interest for Romanian entrepreneurs who resort to an increasing extent to protecting their intellectual property. (…) Romania is one of the top countries as far as the number of inventions awarded at the most recent international salons,” said Florea.

This division will offer legal counsel in the domain of invention certificates, brands, drawings and industrial designs, royalties and license and cession contracts that have as object intellectual property rights.
