CBRE sets up a consultancy workplace department and recruits Tudor Ionescu as senior consultant

CBRE has expanded its specialists team and has recruited Tudor Ionescu (photo) as senior consultant in the new department. Ionescu will be responsible for the identification of concepts and work solutions appropriate for the companies that aim to make the office activity efficient.

He has over 15 years in projection in office sector and hospitality industry. Ionescu graduated from the Architecture and Urbanism University “Ion Mincu” in Bucharest.

„With the experience acumulated in my projection activity, I chose to join the team CBRE, due to the scientific research that the team from here focuses on for the consultancy services,” said Ionescu.

Workplace Consultancy is the newest service within the Advisory & Transaction department of CBRE and represents the first step of a real estate consultancy company in Romania.

  „The new department represents an extremely important for the successful integration of all the business lines of CBRE. Through this new service, we aim a holistic experience of the employees and a flow of processes at the workplace, by identifying the solutions that will lead to flexibility, collaboration and general improvement of the teams,” said Mihai Paduroiu, head of office agency, Transaction & Advisory, Investor Leasing, CBRE.

According to a CBRE Research study, the healthcare, the comfort, the flexibility or the team collaboration have become the differentiators for  employers, employees and future employees and this tendency strongly increased in the last years.

„Workplace Consultancy aims for detailed structural analysis, where every department of the organization goes through a specialized filter that leads to the precise definition of optimization actions. The offices no longer have to be based on the managers’ feeling or the straight way inspiration of the designers,” concluded Ionescu.
