Carrefour opens its first supermarket in Bucharest

Carrefour Romania opened this morning its first supermarket in Bucharest, Carrefour Market Gorjului, on Iuliu Maniu Blvd. The supermarket has an area of 930 Sq m and will offer a range of approximately 10,000 products, 1,000 of which are produced under the Carrefour brand. The Carrefour group operates 22 hypermarkets and 26 supermarkets in Romania and plans to open 10 more supermarkets and one more hypermarket in Drobeta Turnu Severin, this year.
