Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) indices registered falls of over 2 percent on Thursday, with the most affected index being the one of the 10 companies from energy and utilities sectors, BET-NG, which fell by 4.89 percent.
The reference index BET, showing the evolution of the most 12 liquid shares, registered a decrease of 3.83 percent and the BET-Plus index, showing the evolution of the most 37 liquid shares, dropped by 3.69 percent. The BET-FI index of SIFs registered a depreciation of 2.39 percent.
The blue-chip index expanded BET-XT, of the most 25 liquid shares, dropped by 3.69 percent, and the BET-BK, the index for the yield of investments funds decreased by 3.59 percent.
The total value of BVB exchanges exceeded RON 113 million, double compared with the session from Wednesday, when the roll was RON 54.3 million.
The highest decreases were registered in Conpet shares, which decreased by 24.92 percent, Prefab (-8.33 percent) and Electroarges (-7.46 percent).
The highest increases were registered in Rompetrol Well Services, of 3.17 percent, Casa Bucovina-Club de Munte- 1.37 percent and Erste Group Bank of 1.01 percent.
The BVB was in the red as the new government announced a new raft of fiscal changes, including the removal of the profit tax.
