Bulgarian Happy restaurants plan regional expansion, Romania included

The Bulgarian restaurant chain Happy is looking to expand into new markets in the region and is looking for franchising partners, Bulgarian publication Dnevnik announced, quoted by Mediafax newswire. Happy currently operates 28 own restaurants in Bulgaria and one in Spain.

The company announced it plans to identify potential partners in Turkey, Romania, Macedonia, Serbia, Russia and Ukraine, having identified these as markets with high potential.

The opening of a 500 sqm restaurant requires an investment of EUR 470,000, while a double surface would require costs of EUR 640,000.
