Bulboaca & Associates gets pharma fine cut by 70 percent

Bulboaca & Asociatii has had a fine levied on a pharmaceutical company slashed by around 70 percent. The law firm won the verdict for the pharma firm through a final court decision. The total fines, imposed by the Romanian Competition Council, exceeded EUR 30,000,000 for all parties involved. Valentin Berea, partner at Bulboaca & Asociatii and the coordinator of the case, said the reduction was granted based on an alleviating circumstance that the lawyers identified.Established in 2007, Bulboaca & Asociatii currently has 24 attorneys. It was recently selected by the Ministry of Public Finance to advise and represent the Romanian state in connection with the legal assistance and representation of Romania or other public institutions before the International Arbitration Court of the International Center for the Settlement of Investment Disputes.
