Real4You Group has obtained the PUZ (zoning urban plan) for a 70,000 sq m shopping centre in Bucharest, located on the site of the former Electroaparataj plant. According to the leasing agents, the future MegaMall project is approximately 20 percent leased.

Company representatives say that obtaining the PUZ is an important step in getting the construction permit and starting construction mid 2012. The recently signed tenants are located on the first underground level of the future MegaMall, occupying approximately 20 percent of the leasing surface of the shopping centre.

MegaMall Bucharest is a 70,000 sq m mall to be developed at the junction of Iancului and Pantelimon roads, on the former industrial platform Electroaparataj in Eastern Bucharest.

Real4You Group has also announced plans to develop several shopping centres throughout Romania, in cities such as Satu Mare, Focsani and Targu Mures, branded as Mega Mall. The countryside shopping centres will have between 18,000 sq m and 22,000 sq m each and will be anchored by a hypermarket or a supermarket.

The real estate consulting companies Colliers and DTZ Echinox are co-exclusive leasing agents for the four MegaMall projects in Romania.

Outside the country, Real4You will next start the construction works of Mega Mall Sofia in February 2012.

Real4You Group is an investment company in the real estate sector that was established in 1995 in Austria by Christian Rimpf and Klaus Riederer. In Romania, Real4You Group has built 21 MiniMax stores and 3 retail parks. It is also active in Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Bulgaria.
