Bucharest HoJo becomes Sheraton hotel

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc announced it would introduce the Sheraton brand on the Romanian market after signing a franchise contract with S.C. Grand Plaza Hotel S.A., the owner and the company operating the Grand Plaza Hotel in Bucharest. The hotel was operating until now under the Howard Johnson brand.

The franchise contract with S.C. Grand Plaza Hotel S.A marks the start of the rebranding process of the 270 rooms of the hotel into a new Sheraton hotel.
