Bucharest and 13 counties under snow alert this Wednesday and Thursday

Romania’s National Meteorological Administration (ANM) has issued this Tuesday a yellow alert for snow and wind starting Wednesday (2:00) until Thursday (20:00), according to Agerpres.

Bucharest and 13 counties (Vaslui, Vrancea, Galati, Buzau, Braila, Tulcea, Ilfov, Ialomita, Constanta, Calarasi, Teleorman, Giurgiu and parts of Prahova) will be under the alert.

In these regions it will snow starting Wednesday afternoon and wind will blow by more than 60 – 70km/h.  Constanta, Tulcea, Giurgiu, Ialomita and Calarasi counties will also be affected by blizzard and reduced visibility.

Temperatures will drop in all regions according to ANM.
