BTL Agency of McCann appoints new Chief Creative Officer

Momentum, the BTL Agency of McCann World Group, has appointed Radu Pilat as its new Chief Creative Officer, starting September. Pilat has joined McCann Erickson in 2002, where he worked as Senior Copywriter on accounts such as Coca-Cola, Nestle, Interbrew or Heineken. During the six years spent with McCann he won awards at local and international festivals. Pilat says he has chosen the experiential area because “advertising needs to get out of the TV or print frame to continue to be relevant. In 2010, strong stories can only be told on the street. They need to be part of our daily lives. Only like this they will be able to travel and remain credible.”

Momentum is an agency which promotes experiential marketing. It won a bronze Effie in the alcoholic beverages category for Bergenbier. In Romania it is part of McCann WorldGroup Romania, and internationally from Momentum Worldwide.
