BSE introduces Bloomberg Global Identifiers

The Bucharest Stock Exchange BSE announced it is adopting the Bloomberg Global Identifiers (BBGID) to identify financial instruments available for transacting on BSE. The indicators are available for free to all investors on the BSE site. The identifiers serve various functions such as data analysis, price setting, risk evaluation, compensation, transaction reporting.

The BBGID is an alpha-numeric 12-digit code, randomly generated, which covers over 36 million active and non-active financial instruments. The indicators will be useful to both regional and global clients looking for unique identifiers attributed at stock exchange level.
