Bostina si Asociatii has assisted Romgaz in the process against the Property Fund

Bostina si Asociatii has assisted the state-owned gas producer Romgaz in the process won against the Property Fund (PF), decision on the cancellation of a general shareholders meeting decision (GSM). The Sibiu Court rejected the PF’s demand against Romgaz Medias regarding the annulment of the GSM decision by which there was made a donation of RON 400 million to the state budget.

During the GSM from November last year, The Romgaz management approved a donation of RON 400 million to the Romanian state. The PF voted against the donation, arguing that it doesn’t respect their rights as minority shareholder at Romgaz, attitude followed by a legal process.

At the January 19, 2011, the Sibiu Court dismissed the Property Fund request.

Bostina si Asociatii registered a turnover of EUR 16.98 million in 2009 and counts more than 130 attorneys and consultants. It has offices in Bucharest, Chisinau, Vienna, Fribourg and Nicosia, as well as 18 other cities in Romania.
