Loan debts bigger than RON 20,000 given by banks have grown by 0.9 percent in May 2016 compared with April, up to RON 30.11 billion, according to the data provided by the Central Risk Agency from BNR.
This debt loans represented 10.88 percent from the total amounts of debts in May. Out of the total amounts of debt loans, 89.87 percent, respectively RON 27.06 billion are unpaid loans of over one year, a growth from RON 26.97 billion in April.
The number of customers with bank debt loans grew also, in May compared with April, from 188,022 to 190,175, but it remains under the level registered a year before, when there were 208,305 loan debtors.
In the case of individuals, the debt loans of over RON 20,000 grew in May compared with April, with RON 50 million, up to RON 6.14 billion and represented 6.15 percent from the total debt.
