Blue Point has opened a call center in Buzau and aims to hire 50 persons until the end of the year, said the company, according to News.ro.

The call center will offer telesales services, clients support, infoline and technical support. The team from Buzau will work for companies from telecommunications and insurance industries.

The call center is placed in the center of the city and has 300 sqm. The necessary investment was provided from the company’s profit and the associates’ equity. The company didn’t mention the value of the investment, but it estimates to be recovered in the next two years.

„Last year we opened our first local subsidiary in Slobozia, and the intermediary evaluations showed us that we took the right decision. Thus, this year, via the subsidiary from Buzau, we continue the local extension. We tested several cities and finally we chose Buzau for the labor force potential, but also because it’s near Bucharest,” said the Blue Point partner, Violeta Rosu.

Blue Point was set up in 2007 and currently has over 300 employees.
