Billa has announced an investment of over EUR 3 million into redesigning two of its local stores, one in Bucharest and one in Timisoara. Following this process, the entire interior store architecture was redesigned with a focus on the fresh food area which was enlarged by over 70 percent for both units.

“Almost 45 percent of Billa’s turnover is generated by fresh products. Following this investment as well as increasing our fresh products portfolio, we expect an overall growth of sales on the short run,” said Filip Cristescu, operations director for Billa Romania.
