BCR secures RON 88.6 mln in fresh guarantees for Prima Casa loans

BCR got an additional guarantee fund of RON 88.6 million for Prima Casa program allowing it to give credits of almost RON 177 million. 

The fund allocated to the bank will be used for the already approved requests. Those without final approval will continue this process until the funds are fully spent.

BCR will continue to offer assistance to all the clients interested in accessing the Prima Casa program or a mortgage credit. It will transmit to all the relevant institutions data and information about the real needs of clients regarding houses.

Since the beginning of 2016, the number of requests for Prima Casa program increased by 350 percent compared with the last trimester of 2015, this being the reason why this supplementary fund will cover only 1,000 of the existent guarantee requests for the credits with final approval from BCR.

BCR has given until now around 51, 000 credits within the Prima Casa Program, valued at over RON 8.5  billion.
