Banca Comerciala Romana BCR has granted credits worth over EUR 517 million in the First House program. The amount makes up more than a third of the total loans granted by all banks in the program.
Most credits were granted in Bucharest – over 4,000, with a value of EUR 196 million, in Transylvania – over 2,700 credits with a EUR 100 million value, and in Banat and Crisana regions of Romania – over 1,500 credits with a EUR 58 million value.
The average value of a credit granted by BCR in the second stage of the First House 2 program stood at over EUR 40,000, and almost 800 credits were granted at the maximum value allowed by the law, which is EUR 57,000.
