Bang & Olufsen Unveils Beosound Explore

ASBIS announces the launch of the Beosound Explore speaker, from Bang & Olufsen, on the Romanian market. It is a tough and robust speaker, designed to be easy to transport, waterproof and with a very long autonomy. Beosound Explore is suitable for the exterior, with a Scandinavian design and an exceptional sound, specific to the brand, being built to withstand any environment.

PREMIUM DURABILITY

Beosound Explore is the first speaker on the market to feature Type 2 anodised aluminum for improved scratch resistance, making it the perfect speaker for outdoor activities. Created at Bang & Olufsen’s Factory 5 in Struer, Denmark, the anodisation is achieved by building up the aluminum oxide on the surface.

DESIGNED FOR OUTDOORS

The speaker features an aluminum carabiner so that it can be hung on the backpack while hiking. With an integrated strap for grip, Beosound Explore is extremely versatile, offering excellent performance no matter where it is located. Whether hiking or camping outdoors, the IP67 Dust and Waterproof rating protects the speaker if it accidentally gets wet.

Designed to be portable, the cylindrical shell of the Beosound Explore speaker offers stability in use and easily fits in your backpack pockets and even in a purse. Although it has a hard case, the speaker is light, weighing only 631 grams. It has a range of up to 27 hours of playback at a normal listening volume, which allows it to be used all day without the need for an additional power supply.

SIMPLE AND INTUITIVE DESIGN

Reminiscent of forests, glaciers and fjords typically found in Scandinavian landscapes, Beosound Explore is available in a Black Anthracite, Green or Grey Mist finish for an understated and natural aesthetic. The aluminum shell feels special to touch and features a simple and intuitive user interface on top of the product for excellent visibility, which is also easy to use with gloves on for colder conditions.

SIGNATURE SOUND

Beosound Explore delivers Bang & Olufsen’s signature sound and features dual 1.8” full range drivers to deliver powerful sound. Attention has been given to outdoor performance and supreme bass, delivering 59dB in bass capability despite its compact size. The grill is cut in 360-degree lines to ensure True360 omnidirectional sound.
