Bandai Namco, the creator of PAC-MAN, moves its HC in Orhideea Towers

Bandai Namco Entertainment, active in mobile video platforms, the creator of PAC-MAN, leased 1,300 sqm in Orhideea Towers office building, developed by CA Immo, for its new headquarters.

The process of selecting and renting the new 1.300 sqm space was coordinated by the Griffes real estate consultancy.

The Orhideea Towers building, developed by CA Immo, was completed in early July 2018 near Grozavesti Metro Station. The two H-shaped towers include about 37,000 sqm of office space, already leased about 90 percent.

The two towers have 13 floors (GF + 12 floors), respectively 17 floors (GF 16 floors), with surfaces of up to 2,700 sqm per floor and two underground levels. The project includes 406 parking spaces and bicycle facilities.

Present in Romania since 2008, Bandai Namco Entertainment Romania – part of the international group Bandai Namco Holdings  – develops games on mobile platforms, such as smartphones and tablets.

The creator of PAC-MAN

In 2017, Bandai Namco Entertainment Romania initiated the expansion of game development capabilities to other platforms such as the latest generation consoles and PCs. The company is known for developing games such as PAC-MAN, Digimon Heroes!, PAC-MAN Championship Edition DX, Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment.

The evolution of PAC-MAN, started almost 40 years ago, and will continue to enjoy millions of users around the world. The location we selected corresponds to the company’s strategy of development by recruiting young talents, young people passionate about new gaming technologies,  ” Cristian Dragomir, COO Bandai Namco Entertainment Romania, stated.

Starting January 2019, the company will relocate its operations to its new headquarters, completing the list of IT players present in the West Midlands office area.

It is the third time in a year when we were working for a Japanese company – the selection process was rigorous and the result – a confirmation of a well-balanced decision: a quality building with premium facilities and compact space on a single level, ” explained Andreea Paun, managing partner Griffes, who coordinated the rental process

In Romania, CA Immo has been present since 2001 and has a portfolio of five office buildings: Opera Center 1 and 2, River Place, Europe House and Bucharest Business Park, totaling a leasable area of ​​about 106,300 square meters, a rate occupancy of 93 percent and a value of 258 million euros.
